Dear Jay,
It is hard to believe that we have been in Atlanta almost ten months. It seems like just yesterday when we called you to ask for your help in selling our home. As you know, we were going through pretty stressful times with my family’s medical problems here in Atlanta and the decision to ultimately move from Charleston to Atlanta was not an easy one. What you may not know, is that this house that we left in Charleston was our first house and it was very special to us. So when we made the decision to move, we also created an ideal scenario for doing it in what we considered to be the “right way”. Of course, we wanted to get as much for the house as possible, but we needed to move it quickly and we wanted to sell to somebody who would feel as grateful for the house as we were when we purchased it. And of course, we knew nothing about selling a house so we needed a lot of hand-holding. The first decision we had to make in this process was who to use as a realtor.
Although we had superficial knowledge of you through church, it was your presence and reputation within the church and the community that moved us to seek out your services. This turned out to be a great decision. From the first meeting with us on that late fall evening to the final moving day, Meredith and I were blessed to have had you as our realtor. Your experience and knowledge of the area, the market, and the standard processes involved in selling a home were extremely reassuring for us and it allowed us to focus more energy on making the transition to Atlanta a positive one. You maintained the utmost of integrity and honesty in your conversations with us and with the future buyers of the house, which allowed us to feel assured that you were actually working for us and not just for yourself. You listened to our needs and desires, and accommodated those needs and desires without allowing us to let our anxiety interfere with making a good business decision. You maintained frequent communication with us to keep us informed as needed about the house, you made the paperwork and other necessary components seamless and effortless, and you made the whole process of selling our home an easy and exciting experience for us rather than an anxious and cumbersome experience.
Meredith and I are extremely grateful to you for your support, professionalism, efficiency, and expertise as we transitioned out of Charleston and into Atlanta. Of the many realtors we had to choose from, we feel confident that we made a wise decision when we chose Jay Costa as our realtor. Thanks for all you did and good luck to you in the future.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jody Bradham

My husband, Warren, and I asked Jay to sell two homes for us upon the death of both of my parents. While we’d known Jay for many years through our church, it was our first business contact with him. Since our church has many real estate brokers, we had multiple people from which to choose. We are so glad Jay and his associates were our choice! Jay was very professional, yet casual in his approach. His decisions regarding the sale of the houses were accurate and on target. We knew we could trust him to be honest, trustworthy, and ethical. We ended up having to make repairs to one home, and Jay’s advice regarding that was “on the money!” He made our home-selling process as stress free as possible by being timely and dependable. It is an honor for us to recommend Jay and his associates to you!
Sincerely,
Judy and Warren Peper
